How to Set Up Virgin Media Router?

In the Quick Start box that you’ve received with the Hub, you will find all the necessary equipment required to set up the Virgin router. Gather the equipment and begin with the setup process.

First of all, select the Virgin Hub model that you’re trying to set up:

Virgin Hub 5:

Take the connector cable and plug it into the wall outlet.
Insert the second end at the back of the Virgin Media Hub 5. Line up the pin and firmly push it into its place.
Take the power adapter now and insert it into the Hub 5.
Plug in the second end into the wall power outlet.
Turn on the power supply.

Observe the LEDs.
The WiFi light should be on and the base light should be solid white. This means the Hub 5 is successfully connected to the internet.
Wait for about 30 minutes for the network connection to get stable.
The hub is now connected to the Fiber network.
You can use the SSID and password mentioned on a label on Hub 5 to join its WiFi.

Virgin Hub 4:

Insert one end of the connector cable into the wall outlet.
The other end should be connected to the Hub 4. Use a spanner if it is a screw fir. Otherwise, simply line the pin and push it firmly.
Supply power to the Hub 4 by plugging it into an electrical outlet and switching on the power button.
The LEDs will turn on.
When the WiFi light is on and the base light turns solid white, the Hub 4 connects to the network.

Examine all the cables and connections if the light does not turn solid white.
Wait for about 30 minutes to let the connection become stable.
The Hub 4 will be connected to the Fiber network.
The light on the Hub 4 will fade and change color during the connection process.
When the LED stops fading in and out and is dim white for 5 minutes, the Hub 4 is successfully connected.
Use the WiFi details on the label on the Hub to connect to its WiFi.

Virgin Hub 3:

Plug one end of the connector cable into the wall socket and the other end into the Hub 3.
Insert the cable and screw it properly if it is screw fit. Else, line up the pin and push it firmly in its place.
Now, supply power to the Hub 3 by plugging it in.
LEDs on the Hub 3 will turn on. The base light should be solid white. The arrows light may be flashing green. If the light does not turn white then check all the connections.
Let the connection take place. Wait for about 30 minutes.
Use the WiFi name and password at the base of the router and connect to its WiFi.
